Terms of use

These terms cover your use of this website. By using it, you agree to them. They're kept short and in plain English; if anything's unclear, just ask.

Concept art and AI

We want to be open about how the art on this website was made:

A game in development

Terra Vitae is in active development. Screenshots, videos, descriptions and devlog posts show work in progress, and features, art and content may change, or be removed, before release.

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, or a promise of any feature, price, platform or release date. When the game is available, what you buy is described on its store page at the time of purchase, under that store's terms.

This website links to other websites, such as the Steam store (run by Valve Corporation) and YouTube (run by Google). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or how they use your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you're there.

Our liability to you

This website is provided free of charge and “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise that it will always be available, error-free or up to date.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or anything on it, or from relying on its content. In particular, we are not liable for any business loss, such as lost profits, revenue or business opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any of your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you live in the UK.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of your own country, and you may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as the website or the game develops. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Please check back now and then; the version on this page is the one that applies.
